The terms of using My Speech Log. They are written in plain language by the one person who builds and runs it, and they were not written by a lawyer. By signing in, you agree to them.

Who can use it
Anyone, by signing in with any Google account. It is made for Toastmasters members keeping track of their own progress, and it is free.
It is a Beta
The app is still being built. Screens will change, things will sometimes break, and although every care is taken, you could lose something you entered. Download a copy of your record from Settings every so often — it is yours to keep and it does not need this app to open.
Your record is yours
What you enter stays yours. The app keeps it so it can show it back to you, and does nothing else with it — the privacy policy says exactly what is kept and who holds it.
You attest your own history, and you are responsible for what you write, including what you record about other people when you note down what they said.
It is not Toastmasters International’s
My Speech Log is an independent tool for individual members and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Toastmasters International. Toastmasters, Pathways and Distinguished Toastmaster are trademarks of Toastmasters International.
Base Camp remains the official record of your progress. Nothing you record here is sent to Toastmasters International, and nothing here counts toward an award until it is in Base Camp.
Using it fairly
Please do not try to reach anyone else’s record, overload the app, or use the demo to store things. An account used that way may be closed.
As it is
The app is provided as it is, without any promise that it will always be available, that it is free of mistakes, or that what it shows about Pathways requirements is correct. Check anything that matters against Base Camp.
Stopping, and if the app ever closes
You can stop using it whenever you like, and have your account deleted by asking — the privacy policy says how. If the app ever closes, you will be told ahead of time so that you can download your record first.
These terms may change as the app does. The date at the top moves when they do.
