A simple speech timer
Toastmasters timings built in — prepared speech, evaluation, Table Topics — and it turns green, amber and red at the right minutes. Free, and it needs no sign-in at all.
My Speech Log
For Toastmasters members
Log a speech in the time it takes to sit back down. My Speech Log keeps every speech, role and leadership term in one place — and always says what your next Level is short of.
Free · Nothing to install · Works in the browser you already have
This page has five Levels. So does a Path. Walk both the same way.
Level 1 · Log it
No hunting through Base Camp. One button opens the same short form from any screen — title, date, done. Everything else is optional, because a guessed detail makes a record worse, not better, so nothing nags you for one.
Level 2 · Allocate it
Allocating says which Requirement a speech counts toward. The app shows which ones it could fill — and a speech can stay unallocated for as long as you like, unmarked and unjudged.
Level 3 · Let the Path pull you
Home answers where am I up to; your Path goes further. Every Requirement says what it is short of — and when speeches you have already logged could fill it, the Path says so, before you ask. Everywhere you turn, the friction is being removed: less hunting, less arithmetic, more of the next speech.
Level 4 · Skip the typinglaunching soon
A guided setup wizard that automates as much of your setup and history as can be read from the Toastmasters website — your Path, your Level, the speeches Base Camp still remembers — and shows you every line before it lands. You attest it; the wizard just saves you the typing. Launching soon, and honest about that too.
Level 5 · The finish line
No confetti, no streaks, no badge for showing up. When you record a Level, the app says one true sentence about it and moves on — and when you finish a Path, there is a handsome, printable page with your own record on it. Quiet on purpose. Yours on purpose.

The small things that remove the friction — there when the meeting needs them, invisible when it doesn’t.

Download your whole record as a spreadsheet at any moment — every speech, role, Path and term. Yours to open anywhere, and it does not need this app to still exist.
Your Clubs and your Toastmasters Membership Number, ready the moment a form or a sign-in sheet asks — no wallet card, no hunting through old emails.
Nobody real has been quoted yet, so we wrote some encouraging stand-ins ourselves. The first Beta members to say something true retire them.
I logged my 1998 Ice Breaker and felt twenty years younger. My knees remain unconvinced.
Finally — an app that doesn't congratulate me for opening it.
I held the timer up at our meeting and the back row applauded a phone.
Four Paths, two clubs, one place. My ring binder is furious.
I allocated three speeches before my tea went cold.
My grandson says it 'just works'. I say it works. We're both right.
It is a web page. It works in the browser already on your phone, tablet or computer — old or new — and it loads fast on club-hall Wi-Fi.
Large text, plain words and generous buttons, designed for one hand while the meeting is still going.
You attest your own history and the app never overrules you. Base Camp remains the official record — this is the copy that answers to you.
Sign in with the Google account on your phone. No new password to invent, remember or reset.
Your name and your email address — that is all. My Speech Log cannot read your email, your files or anything else in your Google account. There is no new password because there is no password at all.
It was built by a Toastmaster for his own club, and it costs almost nothing to run. There are no ads, nothing is sold, and your record is never shared with anyone.
No. Your record is yours alone — nothing in it depends on your club, and nobody at your club sees it unless you show them.
No — it is independent, and Base Camp remains the official record of your progress. Keep recording there; My Speech Log is the copy that answers to you.
Only if you want to, and only at your own pace. Start from today and backfill whenever an old programme or certificate turns up. Dates and clubs are optional — a real record with gaps beats a guessed one.
Whether you joined last month or gave your Ice Breaker in another century — start where you are.
Just here for the speech timer? It needs no account.
